This story begins with Beiersdorf opening new perspectives on personalized skincare science : Epigenetics.
A visually powerful campaign diving into the world of epigenetics to position Beiersdorf R&D at the forefront of skincare expertise, and enhance their legitimacy in the epigenetics field.
The campaign
An elegant and smart mix of live shots and virtual VFX backgrounds enabled us to create a tech-infused and ownable narrative, accessible to many.
SCIENCE x AWARENESS
The challenge
Beiersdorf’s R&D department is willing to level up its skincare expertise awareness with the integration of a new scientific field in its research program : Epigenetics.
This mission involved 2 objectives:
- Introduce the Epigenetic subject and explain it in a comprehensible way for internal stakeholders.
- Enhance the R&D research and their legitimacy expertise in the Epigenetics field.
We collaborated closely with the R&D department in order to deeply understand the science behind and valorize it.
The answer
Capitalizing on what makes Beiersdorf’s strength and uniqueness, Zorba developed a complete and proprietary scientific territory with a strong storytelling around the concept of Epigenetics.
We aimed to increase Beiersdorf’s awareness and consideration by valorizing a unique and ownable scientific expertise.
Then, we infused this territory by developing a corporate film and key visuals.
The job
Building the strong storytelling in partnership with the R&D and marketing teams.
Strategy: benchmark, concept, manifesto, storytelling, script.
Then, Zorba created a live-shooting film and KVs to infuse this new territory and bring the concept of Epigenetics to life.
In the long term, the objective is to accompany them to develop this territory on their several brands such as Eucerin, Nivea or La Prairie.
